Savor Flavor at This Hidden Gem in Boise!

I’ve been eyeing Han’s Chimaek for a while now and finally decided to give it a try, and I’m so happy I did!

Han’s Chimaek is a Korean restaurant with a twist! They specialize in fried chicken and beer! You can choose your protein, spice level, and sauce; the options are pretty much endless.

We ordered the fried chicken because, duh! And let me tell you: it was the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. The skin was crispy and flaky but not greasy; you could taste the delicate spices on top and all throughout the meat. And don’t get me started on the dipping sauce!

My favorite dish was the creamy onion chicken, which I could seriously eat every single day. The chicken is covered in a sweet and savory sauce and then topped with creamy goodness and sautéed onions. MMM DELISH!

Speaking of crunchy, that’s one of my favorite things about this place: the chicken is cooked perfectly, with that perfect crunch all over. They use boneless meat, which really makes it easy to enjoy—no bones to deal with here!

And if you have friends or family members who don’t eat meat, they have tofu options too! The tofu is super yummy—it has a nice crispy fried crust on it that goes amazingly well with their sweet and spicy sauces.

The atmosphere was really nice, too—we sat near a window with a great view of downtown Boise. It was fun to people-watch as we ate.

We both really enjoyed our meal at Han’s Chimaek and will definitely be back in the future—this is definitely staying on my list for date night!

xoxo,
