    I’m the Boise influencer and content creator behind Boise Socialite, where I share the best places to eat, drink, shop and explore around Boise, the Treasure Valley and beyond. I live in Meridian with my husband, Skylar, and you can usually find me trying a new restaurant, meeting friends for happy hour, finding a really good cocktail or checking out what’s new around town.

    I moved to Idaho as a teenager, so this has been home for a very long time. One of my favorite parts of Boise Socialite is getting to support local businesses while helping people discover new restaurants, events, experiences and places worth knowing about throughout Idaho.

    Star’s Historic New Wine Bar: The Cellars at River’s Edge

    Star has a new wine spot, but this one comes with a little more history. The Cellars at River’s Edge is tucked along Highway 44 inside a beautifully restored farmhouse that dates back to 1921. What was once part of a working dairy farm has been given an entirely new life as a wine bar centered around thoughtfully selected bottles, events, conversation, and gathering.     Gem 73: A New Winery Bringing Connection to Idaho

    Sunnyslope has a new winery to know, and this one is bringing something a little different to Idaho wine country. I recently got an early look at Gem 73 Winery, a new Caldwell winery built around Lanae Ridge Vineyard. Yes, the wine matters here. A lot. But Gem 73 is just as focused on everything happening around the glass: the people at the table, conversations that keep going, beautiful vineyard views, and having somewhere you want to stay for a while.
