I'm Caitlin, but you can call me Cait!

I'm married to my amazing husband, Skylar. We live in Meridian, Idaho, a beautiful city just outside of Boise that offers so much!

From shopping and dining to outdoor adventures, I love taking advantage of everything our great state has to offer.

Being a local Boise foodie means I can usually be found enjoying happy hour with friends or trying out new restaurants around town. And don't forget the good cocktails - I'm a sucker for them!

Before moving to Idaho, I lived in California, so Boise still feels like home away from home. Aside from exploring the area with my family and friends, I also love collaborating with local businesses to help bring the community together.

Sky and I went to the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy Experience in Boise recently and it was such a fun experience. Hosted at The Adelmann, this 21+ cocktail event turned a night out into something that felt part theater, part…

Why Fujishin Estate Winery is a Great Representation of Idaho Wine

    April 13, 2026

There is just something about a wine day on the Sunnyslope Wine Trail that feels like a reset, and Fujishin Estate Winery is one of those places I keep coming back to for exactly that reason. If you know me, you know I love a good glass of wine, and Fujishin has fully earned a spot on my favorites list. I went for a tasting…

Something big is headed for downtown Boise this summer, and if you love live music, cosplay, immersive experiences, pop culture, panels, performances, and wandering through rows of creative vendors, this one deserves a spot on your calendar. Cosma Con: Day Zero is happening Saturday, July 25, 2026, and it’s not your typical convention or your typical music festival. It’s a one day hybrid built to…

Unique Things to Do in Boise: Cooks & Books Cooking Classes

    March 17, 2026

I went to Cooks & Books for the first time with my mom and we were just a few minutes in when we both looked at each other and said… we’re coming back. We ended up booking our second class almost immediately! It’s one of those experiences that feels really intentional from the start. You’re not just showing up to follow a recipe. You’re actually…

A New McCall Experience: The Retreat McCall

    February 13, 2026

Earlier this month, Sky and I stayed at The Retreat McCall during Winter Carnival and got a firsthand look at what this property is all about. It feels tucked away and private, but it’s actually built for something much bigger than a weekend getaway. If you’re planning a wedding, corporate retreat, or destination event in McCall, this is one of those places you’ll want to…
