Jordan’s is one of my favorite options when you want the pumpkin-patch experience without it taking up an entire day.
Located right off Cole Road in Boise, Jordan’s focuses on simple fall fun with pumpkins, a hay maze, corn box, petting zoo, photo opportunities, and other activities. Even better, admission to the pumpkin patch itself is free.
For 2026, the pumpkin patch opens September 11, and they’ve added a new obstacle course to the mix. Most of the activities are free, with a few extras like tractor rides available for an additional cost.

Pumpkin Palooza | Meridian
Pumpkin Palooza is back in Meridian for 2026 and is one of the easiest options if you want plenty for younger kids to do without heading far outside of town.
It has more of a carnival-style atmosphere than a traditional working farm, with inflatables, games, a mechanical bull, wagon rides, a hay maze, corn pit, pumpkin pillow, petting zoo, and plenty of pumpkins. Food and beverage trucks are also available on weekends.

Ten Mile Farms | Meridian
Ten Mile Farms is one of the newer additions to the Treasure Valley fall lineup, and it has quickly turned into a full pumpkin-patch experience.
The farm has both a full corn maze and a smaller family route, plus pumpkins, hayrides, barrel trains, straw bale slides, a giant corn pit, a mini maze, animals, and plenty of places for fall photos.
Food and coffee trucks are available Friday and Saturday, while concessions are available during the week.

Boise Parks and Recreation has its Spaulding Ranch Neighborhood Pumpkin Patch listed as part of its Fall 2026 events. This one is more of a community fall event than a full seasonal pumpkin patch, so I’d treat it as a bonus local option rather than one of the farms above.

Lowe Family Farmstead | Kuna
If you only visit one pumpkin patch in the Treasure Valley, Lowe Family Farmstead is hard to beat.
Lowe has become one of the area’s biggest fall traditions, and it is much more than somewhere to pick a pumpkin. You can easily spend several hours exploring the corn maze, taking a hayride, watching pig races, visiting farm animals, playing on the jumping pillows, exploring the ropes course, riding the trains, and working your way through dozens of other activities.
Their pumpkin patch has more than 50 varieties of pumpkins and gourds, and their famous MAiZE stretches across approximately 14 acres.

Shindig Farms | Nampa
Shindig Farms is where I’d send families with older kids, teens, or anyone who wants a little more adventure mixed into their pumpkin-patch day.
Their fall experience centers around Idaho’s Largest Straw Maze, with eight-foot walls and enough twists and turns to take around 30–45 minutes to navigate. There is also a pumpkin patch and wagon ride, giant slides, zipline, jump pads, corn pit, barrel ride, mini maze, tire wall, mechanical activities, and more.
And once October hits, things get considerably spookier. 👀
The Haunted Straw Maze takes over Friday and Saturday nights in October with live actors and nighttime scares.

The Berry Ranch | Nampa
If you want a more traditional Idaho farm experience, The Berry Ranch is one of my favorites.
This is a real working farm rather than a giant fall festival. You can head into the field and pick your own pumpkin, either by walking out during weekday hours or taking a hayride on the weekend.
You can also shop pre-picked pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, straw, seasonal produce, honey, meat, and other farm products while you’re there.

Cabalo’s is another good option if your idea of pumpkin-patch day is more farm and less festival.
This family-run Kuna orchard grows fruit and vegetables using pesticide-free practices, and the season continues through the end of its pumpkin patch in October.
For 2026, Cabalo’s has confirmed U-Pick pumpkins will be available in October.

Cherry Hill Farms | Caldwell
Cherry Hill Farms combines the traditional pumpkin-patch experience with enough activities to easily turn it into a full fall outing.
Their Fall Festival includes an 8-acre corn maze, plus a smaller hay bale maze for younger kids. You’ll also find a pumpkin patch, jumping pillow, barrel cart rides, tube slides, farm animals, games, playground areas, and seasonal food.
The farm also continues its U-Pick season into October with apples and pumpkins depending on crop availability.

Lovely Hollow Farm | Caldwell
Lovely Hollow is easily one of the prettiest fall farm stops in the Treasure Valley.
Located on Chicken Dinner Road near the Sunnyslope Wine Trail, Lovely Hollow is both a U-Pick flower and pumpkin farm. Depending on when you visit, you may find rows of flowers still blooming alongside pumpkins, food and drink vendors, live music, craft nights, and other seasonal events.
It’s especially good if you’re looking for fall photos or want something that feels a little more relaxed than a giant pumpkin festival.
Lovely Hollow’s pumpkin availability and special events vary throughout the season, so this is one where checking the calendar before visiting is especially important.

Jeremy’s Pumpkins | Star
Jeremy’s Pumpkins is about as classic as it gets.
This longtime family-run Star pumpkin stop is known for its huge variety of pre-picked pumpkins, including traditional orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, Cinderella varieties, gourds, ornamental corn, straw bales, and cornstalks.
There aren’t giant rides or a corn maze here. You come to pick out pumpkins and fall decorations, take a few photos, and head home with the car considerably more orange than when you arrived.
Jeremy’s has been preparing for its 40th season in 2026, but the farm had not released its official opening details when this guide was updated. Your best bet is to check their social media before making the trip.

3 Sisters Greenhouse Mumkin Fest | Emmett
3 Sisters Greenhouse transforms into Mumkin Fest each fall, combining a pumpkin patch with plenty of activities for kids.
Past seasons have included a zipline, bounce pad, corn pits, hay maze, hayrides, games, photo areas, and special event days throughout October.
The farm is active and Mumkin Fest is expected back, but I have not found a complete official 2026 schedule posted yet, so I’m leaving dates and pricing off until those are confirmed.

Not every farm needs a giant corn maze to earn a spot on your fall list.
Wissel Farms | Nampa
Wissel Farms is a fourth-generation Nampa farm with a historic farmstand and separate U-Pick location.
I wouldn’t classify it as a full pumpkin-patch attraction like Lowe or Shindig, but it is absolutely worth knowing about during fall. Their farmstand carries pumpkins, cornstalks, and other fall items in October, along with seasonal produce and locally made goods.

WHICH PUMPKIN PATCH SHOULD YOU PICK?
Not every pumpkin patch offers the same experience, which is exactly why I like having so many options.
If You Have Toddlers or Younger Kids
Try:
Jordan’s Garden Center for a shorter, budget-friendly trip.
Pumpkin Palooza for inflatables, animals, and easy-to-navigate activities.
Lowe Family Farmstead if your toddler loves farm animals, trains, and play areas and you don’t mind making a bigger day of it.
If You Want a Corn Maze
My top choices are:
Lowe Family Farmstead for Idaho’s Original Corn Maze.
Cherry Hill Farms for its 8-acre corn maze plus a smaller hay maze.
Ten Mile Farms for both a full corn maze and family route.
If You Have Older Kids or Teens
Go with Shindig Farms, especially if they’re old enough to enjoy the Haunted Straw Maze later in October.

Tips for Visiting Treasure Valley Pumpkin Patches
A little planning makes pumpkin-patch season significantly easier.
- Check current hours before leaving. Weather, crop conditions, and special events can change farm schedules quickly.
- Buy tickets ahead when available. This is especially helpful for busy October weekends.
- Visit earlier in the season for lighter crowds. September is usually considerably calmer than the weekends leading up to Halloween.
- Wear comfortable shoes. You will probably walk farther than you expect.
- Dress in layers. September afternoons can still feel like summer while October evenings cool down fast.
- Bring water and sunscreen.
- Wait until the end to buy pumpkins if possible so you aren’t hauling them around all afternoon.
- Check what is included with admission. Pumpkins, food, flowers, animal feed, and specialty attractions are often additional purchases.
- Don’t assume every pumpkin patch takes the same payment methods. It never hurts to have a little cash with you.
More Fall Things to Do Around Boise
Pumpkin patches are only the beginning of fall in the Treasure Valley.
Make a full fall weekend out of it with apple picking, U-Pick flowers, scenic hikes, fall drives, haunted attractions, seasonal food and drinks, Oktoberfest events, or a bike ride along the Boise River Greenbelt once the leaves begin changing.
