It’s Like A Grown-Up Tea Party With Cocktails!
We are so lucky to live in a city with so many restaurants and things to do. We love exploring the different neighborhoods and trying new places every chance we get. But, sometimes schedules just don’t line up, and we girlfriends just need a quick, easy place to meet up that’s both delish, close by, and has plenty of seating. That’s where The Lively comes in!
We had such a lovely time at the Lively for their monthly Afternoon Tea. The staff was sweet and attentive, the light music in the background was just right, and the decor was cute and serene. There were so many yummy tea options (we tried many!), and the treats were delicious. Plus, who doesn’t love a reason to dress up and feel fancy while enjoying a summer cocktail with girlfriends?
We’ve been to a few different Afternoon Teas before, but one at The Lively was by far the most fun! Their restaurant is loud enough to enjoy the vibes and have a conversation, but not so loud that you can’t hear yourself think, which is perfect for a group of ladies who want to catch up. And did I mention the food? It’s all made fresh on-site and was absolutely delicious. There were so many tasty pastries and scones that it was hard to choose just one!

A Lively Afternoon Tea is a dainty yet elegant occasion. You can take pleasure in a delectable selection of organic teas and dainty, savory & sweet bites.
This is a monthly event for which you can buy tickets, and the seating is limited.
If you haven’t been yet, I’d recommend making reservations to go ASAP!
Their menu is full of fun and interesting dishes, a few of which I tried and loved. The drinks were also fantastic, but be forewarned — they’re strong! If you’re not a fan of cocktails, they have plenty of other options, including yummy wines!
It’s such a fun atmosphere—lots of light and fresh colors, great food and drinks, and amazing tea experiences. Plus, it’s all just blocks from the Capitol Building, a sophisticated and convivial atmosphere will greet you when you cross the threshold of The Lively.
