If there is one thing I LOVE, it’s a couples Halloween costume.
Skylar, on the other hand, has to be talked into it every. single. year. 😂 Somehow, I always win.
I love Halloween and coming up with a costume for us is probably half the fun for me. I’m also not someone who wants to just order two costumes in a bag and call it good. I love finding all of the individual pieces and putting everything together myself.
Over the years, I’ve convinced Skylar to dress up as everything from Indiana Jones to Shaggy, and we’ve ended up with some pretty good couples Halloween costumes along the way. Since I’m always searching the internet for ideas myself, I figured I’d finally put all of ours in one place. I’m also linking as many of the actual costume pieces as I can find so you can recreate them!
Bugs Bunny & Lola Bunny from Space Jam
Going WAY back for this one! We dressed as Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny from Space Jam with matching Tune Squad uniforms, bunny ears and gloves.

We went as Indiana Jones and Marion Ravenwood from Raiders of the Lost Ark. This one was SO fun to put together, especially once I found Marion's little monkey. 😂

Shaggy & Velma from Scooby Doo
Shaggy and Velma was probably one of the easiest couples Halloween costumes we’ve done. A few very specifically colored pieces and giant glasses later... Velma. 😂

Zorro & Elena from The Mask of Zorro
We went as Zorro and Elena from The Mask of Zorro, which was basically an excuse for Skylar to wear a cape and carry a sword for the night. 😂 My Elena look was much simpler with a white corset-style dress and black boots.

For The Mummy, Skylar went as Rick O'Connell and I dressed as Evelyn. I loved this one because you can recreate both looks with pretty simple pieces rather than buying full costumes.
