Do you ever just want to hang out in an old-fashioned soda shop? Well, if you’re in Boise and looking for a place like that, look no further than Goody’s Soda Fountain & Candy Store!
Located in the Northend, this place has been a local favorite since 1997. They have so many goodies that you will not only find it hard to decide what to order but also hard to leave without trying something new.
The first time I went here was with my girlfriend, and we got a milkshake and a sundae! I got the chocolate shake—it was seriously so good and I can’t wait to go back!
Flavor & Variety Abundance
There are lots of other things on their menu, too, though. You’ll love their candies and desserts if you have a sweet tooth! They have all sorts of candies like sour belts, lollipops, and even chocolate-covered pretzels. Their desserts include sundaes, banana splits, malts, sodas, and more!
I’ve never had a shake as good as the ones at Goody’s, and their coffees are top-notch as well. They also make ice cream sandwiches on fresh baked cookies! (so much YUM!)
They use rich, high-quality cream and premium ingredients. And when you take a bite or lick of Goody’s ice cream, you taste 33 years of ice cream-making experience.
This place is a total throwback to the past, but they are also very contemporary with their menu, which has options for everyone. I think they have 20 or more flavors of ice cream available on any given day too!
I would definitely recommend checking out this place even if you’re not in the mood for a snack or meal because it’s just a fun environment!
