Weekend Getaway: Tamarack Resort & Spa In Idaho

We recently went to visit Tamarack and stay at The Lodge at Osprey Meadows. As always, It was such a great experience! The Lodge is just as much a part of the experience as the rentals, village, dining, and more!

The Lodge has an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, sauna, and spa. You’ll find it hard to leave! It is really nice that you can have all of these amenities without having to leave the resort property. You’ll find yourself returning over and over again for a relaxing day or an amazing vacation. (We try to go a few times each year!)

Staying at Osprey Meadows

The Lodge features fully equipped condominiums from studios to 3-bedroom units. Each unit is fully outfitted in a mountain resort design. Many units in the Lodge offer private balconies with amazing views of the lake and mountain.

Not only did we enjoy our unit, complete with a balcony overlooking the beautiful resort, but the amenities were amazing. It’s more than just a place to stay; it is seriously an experience.

The Tamarack Resort offers many awesome activities. It’s family-friendly, with plenty to do for all ages. During the summer months, guests can enjoy activities like mountain biking, ziplining, fishing, and more. In the winter months they feature 50 runs, 3 high-speed chairlifts and 300″ average snowfall perfect for skiing and snowboarding.

Amenities Include:

  • Full Body Massages
  • Facials
  • Luxury and Affordable Dining
  • Shopping at The Village

Summer Activities:

  • Whitewater Rafting
  • Mountain Biking
  • Waterfront Cabana & Marina
  • Zipline Tours
  • Axe Throwing
  • Guided Fishing Trips

And if you’d prefer to enjoy the views from a scenic chairlift ride or hiking trail, they can recommend local trails as well!

Tamarack Passport

Guests staying in Tamarack Resort-managed rooms will receive 2 Tamarack Passports per night. The Tamarack Passport gives you complimentary access to amenities around the resort.

Our Stay In Tamarack

On our first night at Tamarack Resort we arrived in the afternoon and headed to the Tamarack Reserve for dinner. Both my husband and I loved this place! They have a great selection of beers and their restaurant is so cozy.

That night we saw live music (Tamarack has a live concert series throughout the summer), then went into the hot tub to relax. Check out their Upcoming Events!

The next day, I went for a walk to the Village and grabbed some coffee at Clearwater Coffee Company, then came back to the resort to hang out with my husband whilst riding the Scenic Chairlift overlooking the beautiful scenery.

After that, we both enjoyed some delicious beers at The Reserve and walked around the resort, and checked out where they’re building a new golf course (The driving range is expected to open to the public later this summer with the grand opening of the course planned for summer 2023).

We finished our night off with dinner at Crusty’s Pizza (holy cow the pizza was AMAZING) and some live music in the village area.

I love Tamarack because they have so many different activities to do all year round. We had a fantastic time here and can’t wait to go back soon!
