If you’re looking for a fun date spot in Boise, then you have to check out Western Proper! This adorable little watering hole feels like it’s straight out of an old western – but with so much more charm.
And if you’re lucky enough to go on a Friday or Saturday night, there’s live music and nightlife – so you’ll get to dance off some of that gourmet food!
It’s got a fun atmosphere, awesome drinks, and great food. I’ve been here for girls’ night, lunch, brunch (it’s so damn good – I am obsessed with their cinnamon rolls!), and even my bachelorette party!
The Vibes
When I’m not having fun playing games or drinking on the outdoor patio, I’m usually there with friends or family for brunch or dinner—let me tell you, their food is amazing! The restaurant has a hipster vibe but still feels cozy. We were definitely not disappointed by the decor. The interior is so cool with the leather sofas, Edison bulbs, and folksy art. We really loved it!
We always have such a good time, we forget how much money we’re spending. No wonder it’s such a popular spot in our neighborhood. They offer so many cool things: games like skee ball, air hockey, bowling, and arcade machines. Coffee, cocktails, brunch, lunch and dinner, twinkle lights on the patio, and more!
If you’re looking for a fun spot to bring friends from out of town or visitors from out of state—or if you’re looking for a place to bring someone who is new in your life—I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s close enough to the heart of the city that it won’t feel like too much of an excursion to our newcomers If they want to walk around or take an Uber home when they’re done eating (and trust me—they will want to), they’ll never be terribly far from anywhere they want to go.
The service was fantastic, everyone was so nice, and they gave us plenty of suggestions on what to eat and drink. Everything we had was so wonderful. It’s certainly a great atmosphere to catch up with people!
