Ya’ll know I love finding amazing eats and drinks in the Boise area and BOY do I have a great place to share in Downtown Meridian! It’s a Gastropub downtown called Eight Thirty Common. Their name comes from the fact that their address is 830 N. Mainstreet.
Their cocktails are really well-made and very delicious! The bartenders are super friendly and helpful, too. We had Steve, and let me tell ya, Steve was AMAZING!
I tried the “830 Margarita,” which is made with Espolon Añejo, Grand Monarch Orange, Fresh Lime, Honey Water, and Patrón Citrónge. It was seriously soooooo good! I love margaritas, but this one is definitely in my top favorites now.🤌🏻
My girlfriend had the “Never Trust A Politician,” which is made with Empress Gin, Fresh Jalapeño, House Sour, and Black Lava Salt Rim!
The food was really great too! They serve comfort food, and the menu has a bunch of different varieties, and the names on their menu are really clever and hilarious!
We ordered their Crispy Brussels Sprouts with a maple bacon glaze. (Y’all know about my love for Brussels sprouts!) They were sweet, crispy, and had just the right amount of maple glaze. It was like eating healthy candy!
You should definitely try their brunch and happy hour menus that they have, too! And just as an FYI, their portions are pretty generous!
