This June, raise a glass and celebrate Idaho Wine and Cider Month at the state's premier wine event, Savor Idaho! Held at the beautiful Idaho Botanical Garden, Savor Idaho brings together over 30 of Idaho's finest wineries and cideries for an event filled with delicious sips, local flavors, and a vibrant community spirit.
Last year I went with a few girlfriends and we had a blast! We found delicious local wine (which we of course had to buy a few bottles of) and devoured some super yummy food from the taco trucks. Not to mention, that the Idaho Botanical Gardens are GORGEOUS! (You can learn more about the history of the Idaho Botanical Garden here!)
You'll have the opportunity to taste a diverse range of offerings from wineries and cideries across the state. From the crisp, refreshing ciders of Cedar Draw Cider to the rich wines of Cinder Wines and Clearwater Canyon Cellars, there's something for every palate.
But the delicious drink samples are just the beginning. Complementing the wine and cider offerings will be local food trucks, including Kanak Attack, Coned Pizza, Sear and Savor, Timberlake’s Cuisine, and Hip Pop Hooray!
In addition to the food and drink, Savor Idaho will also feature a variety of local exhibitors. From the unique creations of ArtistryAND1 and Fluff Hardware to the delightful treats Evans Farmstead Cheese, there's something to catch every eye and entice every taste bud.
WHAT TO BRING TO SAVOR IDAHO:
- Bring a blanket and lawn chairs for your personal picnic area
- Water bottles for hydration
- Sunscreen and/or hats
- Smiles and positive vibes
- No outside food
