Have you tried out R&R BBQ? They’ve got 12 locations across 3 states, two of which are now here in Idaho. One is located in The Village at Meridian and the other is nestled in The Main Market Place in downtown Boise! They serve Award Winning BBQ and always find a local charity to support for their weekend opening. Ours was the Boise Bicycle Project, they donated 50% of all proceeds for both days.
What I enjoyed learning about R&R BBQ was that they don’t franchise their locations, they open them all, train their employees and keep the integrity of their core values with each location. They have a small time feel in a bigger city with super yummy BBW recipes.
“Our path started as a hobby. Our founders began barbecuing for friends and family which soon led to local competitions in the Salt Lake City area. Win after win led them to regional contests which ultimately qualified them to compete in the largest contests in the US where they placed among the top teams.”
I also LOVE the location that they chose, it’s next door to Tupelo Honey right off 8th and Main St. It’s a central location where you can grab a cocktail after at Little Pearl Oyster Bar or see live music at the surrounding bars.
