Why You Should Visit Boise, Idaho – The Gem of the Northwest!

There is a ton of places to eat, drink, shop and more! Boise's Downtown has some of my favorite restaurants in town, like The Fork, Coa De Jima, and The Lively. In addition to all these delicious food options, you can visit plenty of interesting shops such as Mixed Greens. Plus, if you're into live music then don't miss out on all the great bars around 6th Street, such as Knitting Factory Concert House, Neurolux Lounge and Olympic Venue!

If you want something more relaxed then take a stroll through the many parks like Julia Davis Park or Ann Morrison Park. There's plenty of things to do here in Boise!

For those looking for something more elegant, why not check out one of Boise’s many wineries? Settle Down Vineyards, Cinder Wines, and Telaya Wine Co are all located within city limits. These wineries have fantastic selections of white and red wines from different regions. You can also pick up a bottle or two to take home with you afterwards! Another great way to spend an afternoon is with cocktails at one of Boise’s popular craft cocktail lounges like The Mode, Juniper Cocktail Bar, and Western Proper. Here you can sip on creative concoctions that are sure to put a smile on your face. Whatever it is that you’re looking for, Boise is sure to provide it!

WHERE TO EAT

Boise, Idaho is a foodie’s paradise! With all the delicious options from fine dining to quick bites, you won’t be disappointed with the culinary offerings. The local restaurants are known for showcasing the vibrant diversity of cultures and flavors that make up the city’s unique character. Whether you’re in the mood for some tasty Mexican cuisine or a delicious brunch spot, Boise has something to offer everyone!
Mexican: If you’re craving Mexican food, head over to Barbacoa for some of the best tacos and burritos in town. Or try out The Matador for traditional Mexican dishes like enchiladas and tacos al pastor.
Asian: Sushi fanatics will find some of the freshest sushi around at Wasabi Restaurant. If you’re in the mood from yummy sushi, check out Yoi Tomo. And don’t forget to try out the Thai dishes at Krua Thai Kitchen!
