Recently, Elaina and I had the pleasure of experiencing a girls night at the newly opened Hotel Renegade in downtown Boise. This boutique hotel, standing proudly at the corner of 11th and Grove Streets, truly lived up to its hype!
Our evening began with the convenience of valet parking, setting the tone for a stress-free stay. The check-in process was smooth, thanks to the warm welcome from the friendly receptionist. As we made our way to our room, we couldn’t help but admire the hotel’s unique blend of rough and refined elements – a testament to their commitment to making every detail matter.
After settling into our luxurious room, we got ready for an exciting night out. Our first stop was The Highlander, Hotel Renegade’s stylish rooftop bar. Perched atop the 8th floor, we were treated to breathtaking 180-degree views of Boise’s skyline, with the landscapes of the valley and Owyhee Mountain Range as a stunning backdrop. The bar’s thoughtfully crafted cocktail menu perfectly complemented the edgy and lively rooftop vibe.
For dinner, we headed to Baraboo Supper Club, the hotel’s in-house restaurant. Inspired by Wisconsin supper club culture, Baraboo delighted our taste buds with its menu of time-honored classics. The combination of good food, drinks, and ambiance made for a truly memorable dining experience.
Not wanting the night to end but ready to chill, we decided to get dessert to go. Back in our room, we changed into our cozy pajamas and savored our sweet treats while relaxing in the comfort of our well-appointed accommodations.
The next morning, before checking out, we couldn’t resist trying Blue Collar Coffee, the hotel’s charming coffee shop. We were impressed by their “pay it forward” concept, where guests can buy a coffee for a stranger or someone they know on a note card – a heartwarming touch that perfectly captures the spirit of community.
Hotel Renegade has certainly carved out its own unique space in Boise’s hospitality scene. From the luxurious rooms to the vibrant dining options and thoughtful amenities, it offers an experience that truly stands out.
