Natalie and I got a sneak peek of the brand-new Slice House by Tony Gemignani in Meridian and we’re officially obsessed. From the first bite to the last, it’s clear this is not your average pizza spot!
The Grand Opening
Slice House officially opens this Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at the new Orchard Park shopping center, and the celebration is going to be one for the books. The fun starts at 11am with a special appearance by Tony Gemignani himself, free Slice House hats for the first 50 guests, and a raffle to win free pizza for an entire year. You can bet this will be the most delicious way to kick off November.
The Idaho-Inspired Slice You Have to Try
We couldn’t visit without trying the Huckleberry Pie Pizza, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Created by Tony along with local franchisees Jamey and Steve Cutter and Clark Morton, this Idaho-inspired pizza combines purple potatoes, bacon, and huckleberry jam. It’s savory, sweet, and perfectly balanced. It feels like Idaho on a plate, and it’s the kind of flavor combination that keeps you thinking about it long after the last bite.
What Makes Slice House Special
Located at 1582 Orchard Park Drive, this is the first Slice House to open in Idaho, and the space strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and elevated. It’s casual enough for a quick lunch stop but nice enough for a date night or family dinner.
The menu is loaded with Tony’s famous pizza styles including New York, Sicilian, Grandma, and Detroit, all made with the same quality and precision that earned him 13 world pizza championship titles. There are also gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options, plus pastas, wings, and salads that round out the experience. You can pair your meal with a craft beer, a glass of wine, or a refreshing soda for the perfect pizza night combo.
Pasta Worth Twirling For
We also tried a few of their pasta dishes and loved them just as much as the pizza. The pesto pasta was rich and flavorful, and the red sauce pasta had that cozy, comforting taste that hits just right. Every dish felt intentional, flavorful, and made with care.
Your New Go-To Pizza Spot
Slice House Meridian will be open every day, from 11am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Whether you’re dining in, grabbing takeout, or ordering delivery, this is about to become your new pizza-night favorite.
From the creative menu to the welcoming atmosphere, Slice House by Tony Gemignani is everything Idaho didn’t know it was missing. Mark your calendar, grab your pizza crew, and be part of the grand opening this Saturday. Once you try a slice, you’ll understand why Tony Gemignani’s pizza has a reputation that stretches far beyond Idaho.
xoxo,
