Boise Baroque at Chateau des Fleurs

Have you been to one of the Boise Baroque Summer Concerts at the Chateau des Fleurs? They have created an absolutely stunning experience, you wont want to miss! You get to listen to beautiful music, taste local Idaho wine, play lawn games all while getting to watch the most incredible sunset.

This was my first time and we had the most magical night! You can bring your own picnic or purchase food on site. We had a charcuterie box full of delicious snacks and treats by Whimsey Charcuterie paired with Roghanis Restaurant‘s 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. (This wine won Double-Gold/Best Cabernet Sauvignon in the 13th Annual Idaho Wine Competition.) We sat in the table seating area which is an added ‘Luxury Experience‘ and the view was really spectacular!

We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and the sunset really was dreamy. Each concert is narrated with fun stories and facts by their Artistic Director, Robert Franz. He was very informative through the entire concert all while being wildly entertaining. (He had us cracking up multiple times!)

The next and final concert, “Expats in London,” is this Sunday, September 4th starting at 8:15 pm. (FYI, gardens open at 6pm.)

Did you know London is one of the major cities that made concerts for the public a thing? Listen to some of the first pieces composers wrote of the public instead of the aristocracy. Don’t miss sunset at one of the most magical places in Treasure Valley! Get your tickets: www.BoiseBaroque.org
