Did you know Tamarack Resort is only 2.5 hours from Boise? It’s a true four-season resort and one of Skylar and I’s favorite spots to vacation to! There’s a ton of fun activities to do there such as Mountain Biking, Axe Throwing, Hiking, Winter Sports, Zip Lining, etc. Make sure to visit their website and use their “Experience Finder” to see what they have during your visit.
One of Skylar and I’s favorite restaurants to eat at while visiting Tamarack Resort is, The Reserve. It was recently awarded the “Best Ski Restaurant in North America” by USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for 2023!
After our first visit, we were hooked! The Reserve is an upscale restaurant nestled right in center of The Village. We love the Bison Filet Mignon and the Reserve Burger, they are absolutely mouth watering. But our FAVORITE menu item that keeps us coming back, are the Tiramisu Donuts, they are seriously heavenly and we highly recommend them.
We’ve also gone up and tried out their brunch and it was spot on. The Bloody Mary was so delicious and the outdoor patio was perfect for our pup CJ to hang out while we enjoyed our food.
We usually stay at The Lodge at Osprey Meadows. The Lodge features hotel rooms and fully equipped condos from studios to 3-bedroom units. Each unit is fully outfitted in mountain resort design and everything you need for the perfect retreat.
When we’ve stayed in the hotel, they usually offer a private balcony which has amazing views and makes for a dreamy morning with some coffee. The lodge also has a large outdoor pool, and two hot tubs, all of which have gorgeous views of the mountains. (Photo Skylar took below!) They also have a fitness center, sauna, and spa.
So you you’re looking for a quick mini vacation that isn’t too far from home, we definitely recommend you visit Tamarack Resort and enjoy all the amazing amenities they have to offer!
